It’s the Cold Fire Cure™ process that makes your signs the greenest on the market today. The Cold Fire Cure™ printing process eliminates up to 50% less waste than conventional offerings, and produces no environmental ozone or VOC's. Your signs are printed using 100% wind energy. Now thats creative conservation. 
Our commitment to the environment is evident in our processes, and our material choices. Our processes include direct to substrate printing which eliminates adhesives, as well as the paper liner needed to transfer those adhesives, thus making them eco-friendly. Our Cold Fire Cure technology is low energy, and does not produce VOC's like many other printing technologies.

UV inks are also "repulpable" according to the Radtech Report. In other words, if you print onto a recyclable paper/cardboard product, using UV-curable inks you recycle the entire board when finished. It will not contaminate the recycling/repulping process.

biodegradable PVC banner material. Under landfill conditions of low
oxygen, high moisture content and microbial enzymes, the additive in
BIOflex becomes active and catalyses PVC degradation by fragmentation.

• No ozone—The UV lamps used in the Gerber Solara ion create no ozone, unlike the high-pressure mercury vapor UV lamps used in other printers.
• No VOC’s—The Solara ion is emission-free and releases no volatile organic compounds into the air.
• Eco materials—The low temperature Cold Fire Cure uses less energy during printing than other high temperature UV-curable systems allowing you to use environmentally-friendly materials.
